A Manufactured Home Bill of Sale Form is used to legally recognize the transfer of ownership of a used manufactured home from one person to another. It is your responsibility to check with the proper authorities in your state to determine if this form is legally adequate for your purpose. Most states require a title for manufactured homes as well as the bill of sale. In some states, double-wides have two separate titles.
A Manufactured Home Bill of Sale should contain the manufactured home’s VIN or serial number, the seller’s and buyer’s information, the purchase price, date of sale, any guarantee or warranty the seller has made to the buyer, a list of any personal property that is included with the manufactured home, and signatures of the buyer(s) and seller(s). In some states the buyer’s and seller’s signatures need to be notarized on the Bill of Sale. Along with the bill of sale, in most states a title is also required.
